Door of Faith Orphanage La Mision, Baja California, Mexico July 5th -12th, 2003

We have made 4 trips to Door of Faith in La Mison, Mexico and are planning our fifth trip for July 5th. We have helped the orphanage by doing electrical work, plumbing, roofing, painting and other general repairs. In addition to the work we do at the orphanage we also build houses in the community working with the local church. We can build an eight hundred square foot house for about $4,000 dollars. The house is built in three days. All the money for the project is raised by the people of Word of Life Church. The trips also help our teenagers see something other than America and they have a new sense about what we have in this country. It really is a life changing experience.
